‘Mug Shots: It’s OK to Be PsycHOTic’, is a series depicting images of head shots of women and teenage girls. These portraits expand upon my previous exhibitions by addressing feminist issues of sexuality, identity, power and control. Through this series I hope to depict a fiery and confronting combination of criminality, sexuality and power in females by portraying women and girls with an essence of a combination of the following; stoic sensibility, power, sexual authority, cruelty, otherworldliness.
