I am a contemporary visual artist with a desire for social justice, travel, the outdoors and interacting with and learning from people from all walks of life. My work questions and challenges the perceived views of women in society and is a result of an intense research process, whereby I research archives and museum collections to gather information and images on interesting and often overlooked women throughout history. In order to address the complex and multi-layered themes that surround these women, I combine intellectual qualities with a visceral appeal aimed at the senses.
